Innovative, trend-setting and reliable - right from the beginning!

In 1954 the businessman Willi Ledermann and the engineer Josef Störzer founded the company Ledermann & Co. The LEUCO brand was born.

Today, more than 70 years later, LEUCO is one of the world's leading suppliers of carbide and diamond-tipped machine tools for wood, plastic, and composite processing.

 

Since its founding, LEUCO has been driven by a wealth of ideas and technical expertise. The range of tools for wood and plastic processing includes circular saw blades, cutters, boring and shank tools, drills, clamping devices, and indexable inserts. In addition, LEUCO offers innovative milling, drilling, and countersinking tools with high-performance coatings for machining modern composite materials.

 

Services such as sharpening, application consulting, and service packages, which are bundled under the term “tool management,” round out the range.

 

LEUCO sells directly to customers, which include sawmills, the construction, furniture, and wood-based materials industries, interior design companies, and processors of composite components, for example, in the automotive, aviation, and lightweight construction industries.

 

Around 1,200 employees worldwide work for LEUCO – networked across continents and close to our customers' markets.


Sales affiliates are in Belarus, Belgium, England, Japan, Poland, Thailand and Ukraine. Sales and production subsidiaries are in China, France, Malaysia, Russia, Switzerland, South Africa and USA.
