Flexible and quick clamping of tools with small shank diameters.

With immediate effect, LEUCO offers reduction adapters for hydro milling spindles on Weeke BHX machines.

Apart from tools with a 25 mm shank diameter, many users of the WEEKE BHX series, also need tools with smaller shank diameter for their most various machining tasks. Expecially for BHX machines with manual tool changes, the reduction adapters now offer easier clamping of tools with small shank diameters.

The shank-type tools are mounted in the adapter which matches the hydro clamping system of the BHX milling spindle. This is done via high precision collet chucks for shank diameters varying fom 1 to 16 mm. A new internal (!) clamping nut provides stable and precise hold. This construction minimizes the building height of the reduction adapter so that increased working lengths of the tools are available for milling.

Two StarterKits with different equipment:
Apart from a mounting block and respective clamping keys, the StarterKit Set 1 includes three clampint adapter with collet chucks for shank diameters 8, 10 and 12 mm. With the Starter Set 2 the end user has five adapters with collet chucks for shank diameters 6, 8, 10, 12 and 16 mm.

Thus, the clamping adapters allow an individual pre-setting of the tools outside of the machine, thus resulting in time-saving tool changes.
